Lessons In Truth
Have you ever reread a book and found a much deeper meaning in it during the second or even third reading? I am experiencing this again as I reread, Emilie Cady’s book, ‘Lessons In Truth’ as I prepare for the nine week class series I will be teaching on it, Wednesday’s at 7PM, May 2 – June 27, 2018. It has been most enlightening to read ‘Lessons In Truth’ again. I find that I am remembering things I knew but I had forgotten. I am also finding new and greater insights with much deeper meanings embedded in this incredible jewel of a book. Sometimes I read something Emilie Cady wrote and I think to myself, was that in here before? That is so powerful, how could I have missed it? Then I remember, I am a different person today than when I first read ‘Lessons In Truth’ in 1985. I have grown, evolved, and have had lots of life experiences that have afforded me the opportunity to have a deeper understanding of what Emilie Cady has written in this masterful piece of work.
So to those who say, “I have already read that book,” I invite you to read it again, think of it as a treasure hunt for the pearls of great wisdom that lie within.
Happy Reading, Happy Hunting,
