Hello, Friends!

I can’t believe it’s almost Christmas! I hope you are all ready for your Christmas morning or whatever celebration you choose this Season.

We have had a really wonderful month so far! We started with a Teen Party that got the Uniteens and YOUers excited about doing service projects, lock-ins and fun(d)raisers and was a great opportunity for the teens to get to know each other better.  Then, on the 19th, our Polar Express/Parent’s Night Out Party was a big success! We had soooo much fun. Thank you for sharing your sweet children with us at UCCL!

So, coming up, there are a couple of things you need to know. The Christmas Candlelight Service is beautiful and meaningful. I hope you come with your families to share the Christmas Spirit! This is a family friendly service, so there will be no child care, but your children are welcome and I think they will enjoy the service.

There is a special treat for Christmas morning! The awesome Lee Weaver will be presenting Joseph - an Intimate Account of the First Christmas. Our youth will join us in the Sanctuary for this special Christmas Service. Please note that there is no child care Christmas morning.

Our Burning Bowl Service is also a family event you won’t want to miss. The service allows us to release what no longer serves us as we move forward and embrace the opportunities of the New Year. There is a time to set an intention to take forward after we burn what we choose to release. Very powerful. Hope to see you there! There is no child care for this service.

Also coming up is our Youth Sunday in January. In addition to having the children involved in the service, we will be doing a great fun(d)raiser, our Potato Bake! We will have baked potatoes and yams and all the trimmings, along with salad and dessert. Suggested love offering is $5 and as always, we take donations! Please let me know if your children want to be involved. We will be holding one or two rehearsals before the 28th. I would also love to have donations for the supplies for our baked potato bar. This helps us apply all of the proceeds to support our YFM programs, including sending teens to Uniteens and Y.O.U. rallies. Give me a call and we can discuss what is needed. 678.266.7679 Thanks!
