Ed Boardman recently resigned from the board to ensure transparency with his involvement in the Unity Enterprise Group and the Nature Connect activities which are separate organizations from Unity Church for Creative Living (UCCL). I thank Ed for his many years of service to UCCL as a board member. We have asked Ed to be a special advisor to the board as we value his wisdom and experience.
Also, I would like to thank Brent Law for service to UCCL as the Music Director over the past year and half. Brent is talented musician and is welcome to perform at UCCL. On behalf of the board, I extending blessings to Brent in his future endeavors.
We continue to make progress forming our ministry teams to support our minister, classes, events, and UCCL’s overall operations and top priorities as we move into 2010. Your board continues to develop goals and plans for 2010. So far, we have formed the following ministry teams:
1. Prayer Chaplain Ministry – led by Pat Burke
2. Finance and Budget Ministry – led by Candis Whitney
3. Facilities Management Ministry (includes interior and exterior) - led by Ray Ritz
4. Funds Development Ministry – led by Katie Koontz
We have others of the horizon:
1. Membership Ministry
2. Communication and Marketing Ministry
3. Community Outreach and Service
4. Hospitality and Welcome Ministry, to include: Fellowship, Ushers, and Sunday Angels
As we form these teams we need your talents and time to make the teams successful in supporting UCCL to become a world class ministry. And, please don’t forget about sharing your treasures and tithe to your spiritual home.
Thank you for your continued support of UCCL! Let’s move forward in 2010 in UNITY, anchored by support of scripture – “How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity!” - Psalm 133:1.
With Blessings, Respect and Gratitude,
Meredith
