A special warm grateful hug to Theresa Harden for donating hoola hoops, jump ropes, ball and jacks, bubbles, and outdoor games for the children to play with after church. The children really enjoy having the opportunity to play with these games after church. A big round of applause and hip hip hooray to Theresa! We love ya!
Thank you to those young and distinguished ladies who joined us for our Mother/Daughter Tea Party. It was fun! Ms. Joanie loaned us beautiful hats and gloves and we dined on tea sandwiches, biscuits, and sweets. Next year, the Saturday before Mother's Day, we will have a Mother-Daughter high tea. Hope you can come because it was really a nice experience for all.
Summer is definitely here with our Florida steamy days. It is the time to remember to slow down, kick back, and celebrate the moment. Since our Father’s Day Camp-In was cancelled how would you like to go bowling in July or August? If you are interested please come let me know what month would be good. Would you enjoy having a family movie night at the church? Come back and visit with me so I know how many might like these activities and be able to attend.
Parent's Night Out will be July 11, and August 29, from 6:00 - 10:00pm. Bring children in pajamas and go out and celebrate the moment!! Dinner and a movie are provided for the kids. Suggested donation is $15.00 for one and $5.00 for each additional child. All proceeds go directly to the children's church. PLEASE SIGN UP FOR THIS EVENT as we must plan for food...or call Ms. Cindy or Ms. Beth. The sign up sheet is on the table where children sign in for children's church on Sunday.
Would you be interested in celebrating a Back to School Disco Night for a donation of $15 per family? It would be fun to dress up in 80's garb and cut loose. Got some ideas? I would love to hear them.

She has been involved with Montessori education for 21 years and is the UCCL Children’s Ministry Director . Children’s Ministry We are studying from the Twelve Spiritual Powers from God. In July it’s the gift of Understanding and in August the gift of Will. The gift of Understanding is the ability to know that good is beneath everything, regardless of appearances. The gift of Will is your ability to be motivated to listen to God's will and then to direct your “powers” to manifest that good. "Powers" being the gifts of: Faith, Love, Strength, Wisdom, Power, Imagination, Understanding, Order, Enthusiasm, Letting Go, and Life.
