Sun...day, Fun...day....It's just another super Funday!...
Funday Sunday is a big hit!!! The children are looking forward to each Sunday and enjoying the guest speakers that have given them insight on the introduction to Tai Chi with Pat, Tai Chi with Master Wu, Story-Telling with David, and India with Dinshaw. The Easter celebration with the egg hunt was a huge success! Thank you for all the "egg" contributions. These are wonderful gifts to share with our children. I thank each of you for offering to support our children in this way.
April was an exciting month in Youth Ed! We were blessed with an enlightening experience with Mataji!! Thank you, Beth, for attending to our youngest children, you are a blessing! The children had a Musical Magic experience with DeeDee, and after service went to Guana River Park for a picnic, nature, and fellowship! Our children learned about herbs and planted them outside of the church. Suanne Washington gave a presentation on the what’s and why’s of the Maypole tradition in preparation for Sister Mary, who will lead the children in a Maypole ceremony on May 4th. This will be a once-in-a-lifetime experience with Sister Mary...don't miss it!!
Speaking of great events in May...on May 11, Mother's Day, Lynn Kirk will lead our children in song and drumming. Our very own Pamela Cefaratti will teach our children Yoga on May 18 and 25. And as for June, there will be a beach event June 8, after the service at Mickler Beach. Mark all these events on your schedule now, we don't want to miss you! We are sooooo blessed!
