Unity Church for Creative Living 2777 Race Track Rd.

Beth Watson first came to UCCL to assist Ms. Cindy with the Children’s Ministry in September 2007. While working here with our children, Beth has been attending UNF to obtain a Bachelor’s of Arts in Education. She took a leave of absence to complete her internship portion of her schooling. After graduating this past April, she came back to UCCL to take on the role of Children’s Ministry Director. Beth moved her to Jacksonville in 1996 from Louisville, Kentucky, with her husband of 19 years and 3 children. She lives here in the Fruit Cove community. She has a special appreciation for UCCL because so many of her Native American traditions and beliefs are included here in the philosophies at UCCL. Her mother was full-blooded Lakota and was from the Standing Rock Reservation in the Dakotas. Beth is a tribal member of the Standing Rock Lakota Tribe. Because she has a special place for children, she has always enjoyed volunteering and working with children. She has served as a Girl Scout leader for 2 years and is extremely active in a local elementary school as a PTO volunteer. Beth is excited about being a part of the rebuilding and transition phase here at UCCL. She is excited about rebuilding a Children’s Ministry that kids will want to come to every Sunday.

Come See The New Children's Church Decor!

Thanks to some generous furniture donations and a little sweat equity the Children's Ministry has a new look. The back office has been converted to a great hang out spot and Y.O.U. den with a great (and huge) comfy couch and a hutch that hides the TV and Ms. Beth's desk.
