Hope you are all having a great summer!!
We are still looking for a few volunteers for one or two Sundays a month. If you have any thought that might be something you are called to do, please contact me!
We are working on the Kids on the Quest curriculum this Summer, so the kids are learning about growing and changing, creating friendships and what God is. We are really enjoying the lessons so far.
As some of you already know, we are bringing the kids in at the end of service now to share what they learn in class. So we are beginning in the back at 10:30 sharp, to fit in all our awesome activities. Thanks for being on time! Also, we have begun to serve snacks, so please be sure to note any allergies on the sign in sheet. We are careful to serve wholesome, natural snacks, but I know people are allergic to lots of different things, so please be sure to list them.
In exciting teen news, Tammy Bond and Joan McNeil have volunteered to support our Y.O.U. (Youth of Unity) program. They are looking forward to working with the 14 - 18 year olds, planning fundraisers, lock-ins and service projects, as well as supporting the teens in creating and delivering their own lessons. They will also be encouraging attendance at Regional retreats and rallies. This is a very important program for our teens, and I’m grateful for their willingness to serve.
Thank you all for sharing your beautiful children with us. I am so very grateful for each and every one of them. Please feel free to contact me if you ever have any questions!
