A Special event at UCCL on Friday, March 23rd at 6pm
The Girls Gone Green, Ananda Kula, and Jacksonville Health and Wellness have teamed up to host No Meat March, for the second year in Jacksonville. No Meat March is a challenge to go meat-free for the month of March. When you sign the pledge at nomeatmarch.com, you will receive daily emails with valuable resources such as recipes, articles, and advice. You will also receive a pledge card that allows you to get discounts at numerous local restaurants and businesses. Many exciting events are planned throughout the entire month to support and encourage your journey to awareness, health, and well-being.
One especially inspiring event is a lecture by the best-selling author of, "The World Peace Diet," Dr. Will Tuttle. "The World Peace Diet," describes the interconnectedness of all living beings, and how our food choices affect not only our health and the environment, but also our spirituality. Dr. Tuttle reveals how such a transformation of heart, mind and body can empower us to create a world of peace, loving kindness, respect and reverence for the sacredness of all life. For anyone wanting to grow spiritually, who wants to wake up and live a compassionate life, and contribute to world peace, this lecture will give you the insight you need.
