Unity Church for Creative Living Prayers For 2009

God of Many Names, we gratefully acknowledge the Spirit of Fellowship and
Unity that now abides in our community, in America and the world.
We pray for peace and cooperation between all people, all political parties,
and all generations.
We pray for the inspiration and empowerment of our 44th President Barack
Obama and his administration so that they may work together with us to
believe in and to achieve a more perfect union.
We pray for President Obama's family, First Lady Michelle and their two
angelic children Sasha and Malia, that you may watch over them, protect
them, uplift them, give them rest, and time to be together as a family.
We affirm that through our collective creativity, ingenuity and imagination,
perfect solutions to our current challenges will spring forth.
We embrace each opportunity to share our riches, lift our up our sisters and
brothers and lovingly care for and respect the Living Earth, our land, sky,
seas and all forms of Life.
With the Light of God surrounding us, the Love of God enfolding us, the
Power of God protecting us, and the Presence of God watching over us,
we affirm: All is well. Thank you, God. Amen.
